Statewide Action planning
Since 2023, Little Pineapple has partnered with Washington State's Department of Health, Department of Social and Health Services, and Health Care Authority to advance the Age- and Dementia-Friendly Washington initiative across four funded phases — from securing the governor's commitment and building a multi-sector Advisory Group, to administering a 3,000-person statewide survey, facilitating community forums with over 300 people, and developing a statewide action plan.
Communication & Conflict Internal Training
Little Pineapple designed and delivered a year-long, co-designed leadership development program for approximately 140 managers at DAP Health, helping the organization reframe conflict as a pathway to genuine collaboration and team building.
Clients & Projects
Medicaid Expansion to Cross-Initiative Learning Project
Our team served as a learning partner to the Missouri Foundation for Health, moving from a learning project for their Medicaid Expansion initiative into an expanded, cross-initiative learning project, staying the course when the political landscape sent grantees into crisis and ultimately helping to inform MFH's strategic plan.
Local Health Agency Technical Assistance Program
Little Pineapple partnered with the National Association for County and City Health Officials (NACCHO) to strengthen coordination across a complex, multi-team technical assistance program. We improved communication systems, resolved conflict, and built internal facilitation capacity so the team could lead the work independently long after our engagement ended.
Leadership Transition & Transformation
Little Pineapple partnered with the National WIC Association (NWA) to guide a multi-phase organizational transformation project to rebuild its values, governance, and culture during a pivotal leadership transition.
Productive Conflict for State Agency Leaders
Little Pineapple partnered with the Association of State and Territorial Health Officials (ASTHO) to provide an interactive workshop to understand conflict types, recognizing early warning signs, and implementing productive response strategies. Attendees left with practical tools and resources for sustained support.
