Little Pineapple Collaborative is a woman-owned small business based in San Jose, CA, working within the U.S. We are dedicated to working with organizations, communities, and governments to promote health equity and improve quality of life through interdisciplinary strategic planning, facilitation, and program implementation. Our mission is to create space to learn and transform our collective understanding of ourselves and our communities.

Our team uses a combination of traditional and nontraditional tools in our approach. Our team comes from a range of sectors, including public health, aging, education, power building, evaluation, and international human rights. We’ve worked with political leaders, state agencies, national non-profits, foundations, community organizers, urban planners, and tribal serving organizations.

Expertise
We have extensive experience in public health, including infectious disease prevention and control, chronic disease management, health promotion, and health equity. Our team is dedicated to working with clients to develop community-driven and evidence-based solutions that promote health equity and improve health outcomes
Public Health
Food system
We have expertise in food systems, including food security, food access, and regenerative agriculture. Our team works with clients to develop solutions that promote healthy food environments, improve food quality for all, and integrate nutrition services into other public health activities.
Aging
We believe health outcomes in older adulthood show people’s lifelong relationship to the social determinants of health. We are committed to addressing the unique challenges facing older adults and working with clients to develop solutions that promote healthy aging and improve quality of life for older adults. We are well-versed in the AARP Age-Friendly network and have helped our clients move from application to implementation.
Dementia
We recognize dementia as an under-recognized public health crisis. Rates of dementia are expected to increase substantially by 2040. We help our clients create interdisciplinary policies, systems, and environments that improve outcomes for people living with dementia and their care partners/caregivers. Our team is up-to-date in the USAging Dementia-Friendly network and trained as Dementia Champions for American Indian and Alaska Native Communities.
